Frank Beirens

It is with the deepest regret that we have to announce you that our beloved colleague Frank Beirens has deceased unexpectedly.

Frank started his career at Sabena in 1988 as Rep in Germany and Switzerland. From 1995 till 2000 he was Sales Manager in Brussels. After the bankruptcy, he moved back to Germany in the role of Country Manager. Since 2003 Frank was Vice President Aeropolitical Affairs, a function that he combined since 2012 with the responsibility for Industrial Relations (cooperation with the social partners).

Frank was recognised inside and outside the company as a highly competent person, with a vast knowledge, eye for detail and always dedicated to the success of the company, without ever forgetting the human dimension.
We will remember him as a cheerful colleague, always in for a joke or a compliment.
Our deepest sympathy goes out to his partner, his family and friends and the colleagues he worked closely together with.
